A wildfire in the United States has claimed the lives of 33 people. Authorities say dozens are still missing. According to the report, forest fires have broken out at 94 different places which engulfed 4.6 million acres and reduced them to ashes. The blaze also engulfed the West Bank cities of Oregon, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland.
The wildfires began in California on August 22 and have since spread. Fires are still raging in 25 locations in California, 16 in Washington, 13 in Oregon and 10 in Idaho. Fires have also been reported in the US states of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. In excess of 30,000 firemen and paramedics are attempting to contain the blast.
