Beirut blast, arrest warrant issued for 2 accused including senior officer Aug 22, 2020 | 15:30 PM
Beirut
(INP) - A judge investigating the bombings in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, has
issued arrest warrants for two people, including a senior officer. Lebanese
state media have confirmed the issuance of warrants for Hannah Fairs, director
of the Customs Authority, and Naila al-Hajj, a contractor at the warehouse
where the blast took place. Six of the 25 people facing inspection into the
blasts have been under arrested. France is also inquiring the blasts
separately. Several French citizens were murdered in the blasts
